What this applies to
These instructions apply when you have authorised DigiClick Intelligence to access Meta services, including Meta Ads data, business assets or related account information through Meta OAuth or the Meta Marketing API.
How to request deletion
- If you no longer want DigiClick Intelligence to access your Meta account, revoke DigiClick Intelligence from the relevant Meta/Facebook account settings or business integration settings where available.
- Email DigiClick using the address below with the subject “Meta data deletion request”. Include the email address used for the connection and enough information to identify the relevant business or ad account. Do not send passwords, App Secrets or access tokens.
- We may ask you to verify that you are authorised to request deletion for the connected account before we remove stored integration data.
Send the request to hello@digiclick.co.uk.
What DigiClick will delete
- Stored Meta access tokens or other credentials associated with the disconnected integration.
- Meta user, business, ad-account, Pixel/Dataset or related identifiers stored only to operate that integration, where they are no longer required.
- Cached or derived Meta integration data that is no longer required to provide the service, subject to the retention exceptions described below.
Retention and completion time
Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days. Limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution or audit integrity. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten through normal backup rotation, while remaining protected from ordinary use.
Your Meta account is separate
Deleting DigiClick Intelligence integration data does not delete your Facebook profile, Instagram account, Meta Business Portfolio, advertising account, campaigns or other data that Meta itself controls. To delete or change data held directly by Meta, use the privacy and account controls provided by Meta.
Confirmation
After a verified request has been processed, DigiClick will confirm completion using the contact details supplied with the request, unless legal or security restrictions prevent us from doing so.
